Autogenic Training

Autogenic training is a relaxation technique, developed in Switzerland in the early 20th century, that combines progressive relaxation with autosuggestion. The training appears to reduce the reactivity of the autonomic nervous system.

The training is easy to carry out on your own. Here is one version of the program:
